Art of Guana fundraiser with artist Eugene Quinn
On November 16th, Ponte Vedra artist Eugene Quinn opened his Studio to a benefit for Save Guana Now, and he generously donated 20% of his proceeds to our efforts to stop development at the Outpost. Some may remember Eugene painting plein air at our Save Guana Gala where he also donated a beautiful piece to our silent auction. He's passionate about preserving Guana on canvas - and in real life. The coast and the diverse habitat of
Guana Preserve are central to Eugene's inspiration. If you see a painting on this page that you're interested in, it may still be available. Eugene will continue to honor the 20% donation to Save Guana Now through the holidays. Contact him here if you'd like to make an appointment to visit his studio.
All in all, it was a wonderful evening and such a treat to spend it amid these lush, evocative works of art featuring Guana preserve. Scroll down for lots more photos of the event, and see one of Eugene's works in progress. Check out The Ponte Vedra Recorder's coverage and photos too.
Special thanks to Deanna Clement, Gallery Manager, for putting it all together!
